FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Linda Kenney, MITSS Executive Director, named Prevention Magazine's Health Hero of the Month

CHESTNUT HILL, MA -- MITSS (Medically Induced Trauma Support Services, Inc.) is proud to announce that Linda Kenney, President/Executive Director, has been named Prevention Magazine's Health Hero of the Month for February, 2008.  "While I am extremely honored to be recognized by Prevention, it's also somewhat embarrassing.  I know that there are so many other people out there doing great work and who are equally committed to patient safety and quality goals," Linda said.
Prevention is a well respected national publication with a readership of over 11 million.  Linda added, "Coverage like this will hopefully reinforce to patients, families, and clinicians impacted by adverse medical events that they are not alone in their struggle and need for support."
